Applications for extended family visas for couples (application form in english FO/FA3, danish version FO/FA3), and applications for extended visas for children (application form in english FO/FA4, danish version FO/FA4) can be handed in at the police stations in the Faroe Islands or sent to the Danish Immigration Service.

Provided the applicant has applied for en extended permit within the set time limit, the current permit is valid untill the authorities have answered the application for a subsequent visa.

The main requirement for being granted an extended family visa is that the conditions, upon which the first permit was granted, are unchanged.
